Noise in the System
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
You are inside a computer's operating system, playing a virus known as NOISE, that is attempting to take down the system by taking over corrupt sound files. In each level search for three files by listening to the broken sounds they make and locating them with the use of your hearing, considering the sound's volume, direction etc. In some levels there are antivirus programs that will reset the level for you when met. They communicate with each other by emitting their own distinct sound.
This game is my tribute to digital aesthetics, glitch music and the beauty of broken media.
Made as part of Indie Games studio course at Bezalel Academy's visual communication department.
